Pick Up Truck Cargo Control: Cargo Net, Bungee Cord And Cargo Bar
Recently I borrowed a pick up truck to move a lot of small things . I may have to say that the trunk is just like a trash can , you can see every type of trash like stuff in it, sometimes I think I am just a hoarder! I tried to load them up in an ordered fashion but it was proved that my effort was futile. In the end I just gave up and threw all stuff together, and stared at the big mess I created. Then it occurred to me that I couldn’t get on my way like this, if I did there would be possible consequences like these: you could imagine the whole mess would collapse onto the road and might cause accident, or before anything could happen I would be stopped by a police officer and get ticketed.
I still needed to go ahead, I could start over and try to tidy them up and tie them down or simply find something to hold them together, to sum it up, I only need to find something to hold all stuff together and I would be good to go! Was that simple? Of course in this case we don’t need big tie downs like 10,000lb ratchet strap or grade 70 binder chains,
I dived into the tie down world for something can be used with my pick up and the tie downs may not to overkill for my situation, at first I found some 1” ratchet straps, camouflage ones, I liked these straps but they are too much in strength for me, though there were not expensive at all, cam buckle straps were in the same shoes, all I could see was something too much in strength, too little in real world use, what a piece of 1” ratchet strap could do with the huge pile such as the stuff on my truck? Besides, 1” ratchet straps won’t be able to hold a lot small pieces together at all. Fortunately I found this darling cargo net , with the size 60”x84”(5′x7′) , which is a perfect match, To use cargo nets is pretty simple, just cover the pile with cargo net, hook the hooks on the cargo net on the truck, that’s it. Of course when we’re talking about cargo net we have to mention bungee cords , actually the cargo net are made of connected bungee cords. In a nutshell, the small cargo nets and bungee cords are light duty tie downs made just for the purpose of holding together and tying down small but irregular loads such as the pickup truck mess in my case. And these nets and cords are perfect cargo control stuff for cars, small trucks and small vans, you will be able get good deals all over the place. Now the nets and cords aside, probably a lot people will like to have load bars in their trunk, people use these bars to divide trunk, prevent objects in the trunk from moving, you see it’s usefulness makes it popular choice for pick up drivers.
